The Movement for the Establishment of Community Educational Institutions

The population in Southern Tel Aviv is composed of mostly traditional and religious families. There was a great lack of educational institutions that suited the community’s needs and beliefs. For example, the most recent national-religious elementary school that existed in Jaffa was shut down 25 years ago!

When the Torani community came to Jaffa, its members began to build strong community educational institutions to serve the community and the other residents of Jaffa and Neve Ofer.
